DESCRIPTION OF SPECIES Gryon kelnerpillaulti sp. n. $o* (Figs 16, 20, 25, 34) 9 . Black. Radicle and scape, excluding proximal and distal surface, dark brown: A2 —A 12 brown, mandible reddish infuscate, tegulae brown, veins of wings brownish, coxae and trochanters brown, femora dark brown excepting ochraceous proximal and distal surface, fore tibiae honey infus­cate, middle and hind tibiae honey-brown, last 4 tarsomeres concolorous. Head from above 2.4 times wider than long (23: 9.5). POL, OOL ratio as 7: 1.5, lxb as 12X 10, ms = 3, ios = 12.8. Antenna and wings as in Figs 25, 34. Mesoscutum (21 : 15) and scutellum (13: 6) transverse (Fig. 16). — Sculpture of frontal depression as in G. mirperusi, mesoscutum and scutellum finely reticulate, proportions of gastral tergites and their relative sculpture as in Fig. 20. — Length 1.3 mm. d. Essentially identical with female; striation of frontal depression finer than in female. Length to breadth ratios of AI — A10 as 12: 2.2;2: 2;4.8: 3.8; 3.4 : 3.5; 2:4; 2:3.8; 2: 3.5; 1.9: 3.3; 2: 2.8; 2: 2.8; middle surface of scape, of femora and of tibiae paler than in female. — Length 1.3 mm approx. Material examined. — Holotype 9 : Somaliland, Uebi-Shebeli, Afgoye, Malaise-trap, 1-15. III. 1980. M. OLMI. — Allotype d: Senegal, Bambey, 1944, pres. by Commonwealth Institute of Entomology (B. M.) 1950-96, from egg of Coreidae laid on arista of Graminacea, J. RISBEC; AW — ,412 and A9 — A\2 respectively on left and on right antenna missing. — 1 ç para­type: Somaliland, IV 1980, other data as in holotype, dissected for drawing and mounted for SEM on a tag. — 1 9 paratype: Somaliland, II. 1977, F. BIN, other data as in holotype; 1 9 (paratype) (III. 1977, F. BIN), other data as in holotype; — 1 9 paratype: IV. 1977, F. BIN, other data as in holotype; 2 99 paratypes: V. 1977, F. BIN, other data as in holotype. — 1 9 paratype: Senegal, M'Bambey, from egg of Homoeocerus yerboury, J. RISBEC, head dissected from the body both tag­mounted, belonging to the colletcion of Paris, where it will be preserved. — Holotype and 2 para­types in the collection of I. E. a. (Palermo), allotype in the BMNH; 1 paratype in the TMA. Hosts. — Apart from the above mentioned host, it is most likely that G. kelnerpillaulti sp. n. has the same hosts as G. mirperusi. Figs 6-9.
