Male genitalia elongated, a little expanded apically, virga within genital lobe of Ancis­trogaster-type, characteristically curved basally, or straight. Distribution : Neotropical Region. IDENTIFICATION KEY TO THE SPECIES 1 (6) Tegmina abbreviated, with posterior margin straight, truncate; wings absent. 2 (5) Sides of abdominal tergites 4-7 with comparatively smaller spines. 3 (4) Male forceps elongated, slender, more or less straight at lateral view; inner mar­gins with some small teeth (Fig.l). Male genitalia a little expanded apically, virga within genital lobe of Ancistrogaster-iypz, characteristically curved apically (Fig. 2) robusta (BORELLI, 1911) 4 (3) Male forceps fully developed, strongly curved at lateral view; inner margins with one large tooth medially (Fig. 3). Inner margins of male forceps slightly crenulated, as in fig. 10 uncinata (BORELLI, 1915) 13 (12) Lateral spines of abdominal tergites 4-7 straight laterally. Inner margins of male forceps smooth or with very fine serrations. 14 (15) Pronotum slightly longer than broad. Tegmina bicolour, dark brown with humeral patch yellow. Lateral spines of abdominal tergites 4-7 tapering, pointed, as in fig. 11. Male genitalia comparatively large, virga within genital lobe with strongly sclerotized curvature basally (Fig. 12) significans sp. n. 15 (14) Pronotum quadrate, as long as broad. Tegmina unicolour.
