Propodeum with stronger sculp­ture, dorsal aspect except the irregularly coarsely reticulated lateral areas longitudi­nally strongly striate (in japonicus rugoso-striate), sides obliquely, somewhat arcuately, strongly and coarsely rugoso-punctate, with upper and posterior mar­ginal areas strongly closely striate. 5. Legs brighter in colour; ground colour ferruginous, all femora beneath (not in full length) narrowly dark brown, hind tibia and basal 2 joints of tarsus also dark brown. Length 8.0 mm. Black; yellow are clypeus except brownish marks and apical margin (Pig. 12), (labrum unobservable), palpi except base and apex, mandible except base and apex, a mark covering supraclypeal and interantennal areas, antenna! joint 1 in front (2 and 3 ferruginous beneath), humeral tubercle posteriorly and a spot on each side of abdominal tergite 2. IODs at vertex and at base of cly­peus relatively 42 : 34, OOD : POD = 13 : 8, postocellar diameter relatively 6; area dorsalis in an equilateral triangle, with apex pointed. Ç unknown.
