7. Ovipositor sheath short, as long as 3rd basitarsus. 8. Hind femur brown to blackish brown. 7. Ovipositor sheath long, nearly as long as 3rd tarsus (Fig. 5). 8. Hind femur reddish yellow. The new species is also close to A. splendid us PAPP (Hungary) and A. szabói PAPP (Hungary, Yugoslavia), but the following features separate the new species from them: A. splendidus PAPP 1. Inner margin of eyes convergent below (cf. Fig. 204, in NIXON 1965: 185). 2. Head (in front) not lengthened on its oral part, cheek shorter than basal width of mandible. 3. Metacarp twice as long as its distance from end of r 3 (Fig. 21, in PAPP 1974: 334) 4. Tergite 1 broadest at its distal third (Fig. 22, 1. c). A. szabói PAPP 1. Head (in front) lengthened as in Fig. 14 (PAPP 1972: 344). 2. Inner margin of eyes convergent below (Fig. 14, 1. c). 3. Mesonotum and scutellum densely, strongly (but not roughly) and evenly punctato-rugose, dull. 4. Propodeum densely rugulose, around lunule almost rugose. 5. r l emerging from middle of stigma (Fig. 15, 1. c.) 6. Tergite 1 broadest at base and narrowing posteriorly (Fig. 16, in PAPP 1972: 344). 7. Hind femur brownish black. A. assimilis sp. n. 1. Inner margin of eyes parallel (Fig. 1). 2. Head (in front) somewhat lengthened on its oral part (Fig. 1), cheek as long as basal width of mandible. 3. Metacarp short, its length equal with distance from end of r 3 (Fig. 2). 4. Tergite 1 broadest medially (Fig. 4). A. assimilis sp. n. 1. Head (in front) lengthened as in Fig. 1. 2. Inner margin of eyes parallel (Fig. 1). 3. Mesonotum and scutellum shiny to subshiny, mesonotum with shallow, fine and rather dense punctation, scutellum with somewhat weaker punctation. 4. Propodeum almost evenly rugose. 5. r x emerging distally from middle of stigma (Fig. 2). 6. Tergite 1 broadest medially and narrowing anteriorly and posteriorly (Fig. 7. Hind femur reddish vellow. A. assimilis sp. n. is a representative of the butalidis-gvour) (NIXON 1965, 1973). Apanteles bersus sp. n. 9 (Figs. 6—9) Very similar and closely related to A. cacoeciae RILEY (Cuba, USA), distinct from it in small but clear-cut marks. My female and male specimens of A. cacoeciae RILEY were determined by DE. P MARSH (Washington) ; the comparison of the Mongolian female specimen with them establishes the specific differences as follows : A. cacoeciae RILEY 1. r x much longer than tuqu^ issuing almost from middle of stigma (Fig. A. bersus sp. n. r x and cuqu y equal in lenght, r x issuing somewhat distally from middle of stigma (Fig. 7).
