ANNALES HISTORICO -NA TUR ALES MUSEI NATIONALIS HUNGARICI Tomus 68. Budapest 1976. Braconidae (Hymenoptera) from Mongolia, V.* by J. PAPP, Budapest Abstract — Taxonomical and faunistical data of 50 species of Braconidae (Cardiochilinae 1 species, Neoneurinae 1 species and Microgasterinae 48 Species) from Mongolia. 6 species are new: Apanteles assimilis sp. n. 9 0> A. bersus sp. n. 9 > -4. gobicus sp. n. 9 ci*» Microgaster debilitata sp. n. Q , N. noxia sp. n. 9 cf , and M. utibilis sp. n. 9 • With 36 figures. The present and the subsequent papers are designed to continue the elaboration of the Braconid wasps collected in Mongolia by DR. Z. KASZAB. The material was taken in June - July 1966, 1967 and 1968. The fourth trip (in 1966) led to West Mongolia, to Mts. Changhai, Mts. Gobi Altai, Mts. Mongol Altai and to the Basin of the Great Lakes; the fifth (in 1967) to South Mongolia, to the Gobi Desert; the sixth (in 1968) to NW Mongolia, to the Depression of the Great Lakes (KASZAB 1966, 1968a, 1968b). In this paper I submit the taxonomie and faunistic results of the expeditions concerning Cardiochilinae (1 species), Neoneurinae (1 species) and Microgasterinae (48 species). The total number of the discussed species is 50, of which 6 are new to science : Apanteles assimilis sp. n. 9 (~f» A. bersus sp. n. 9 > A. gobicus sp. n. 9 d*> Microgaster debilitata sp. n. 9, M. noxia sp. n. Qç?> M. utibilis sp. n. 9 J an d 19 species are new to the fauna of Mongolia. The whole material is deposited in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. Locality labels of the specimens are somewhat abbreviated, full reference to data has been published originally in German by KASZAB (1. c). NEONEURINAE Neoneurus viennense GIR. —As 1 pointed out previously (PAPP 1971b), it seems necessary to make a revision of the Neoneurus species. To promote this revision I give the distmguishing features of the male sexes of the two species named below also taken in Mongolia : N. aucta THOMS. ( = N. halidayi MARSH.) 1. Tibia 1 twice as long as tarsus 1 (20-18:40). 2. Face 1.2-1.3 wider than high, more horizontally striate-rugulose. Malar space very short. 3. Mesonotum, scutellum and tergites 1-2 chagreened . 4. Body black ; face, clypeus, palpi, scape, tegula, and legs pale yellow, face with brown spot. 5. Body 2.8-3 mm. N. viennense GIR. 1. Tibia 1 one-half to one-third as long astarsus 1 (15:23-20). 2. Face 1.4-1.5 times wider than high, rugose-rugulose . Malar space as long as basal width of mandible. 3. Mesonotum, scutellum and tergite 1 rugose-rugulose, retgite 2 chagreened. 4. Body black, legs yellowish brown. 5. Body 3.3-4 mm. Listed from several countries in Europe. New to the fauna of Mongolia. Localities. Central aimak: 13 km W von Somon Bajancogt, 1450 m, 17. VI.
