ANNALES HISTORICO-NATURALES MUSEI NATIONALIS HUNGARICI Tomus 62. PARS ZOOLOGICA 1970. On the Eriophyoids of Hungary. VII. The Description of Three New Species By H. FARKAS, Budapest Tetra peueedani sp. n. (Figs. 1, 2) Female 210-230 p. long, 80 u. high and 82 u. wide. Widest immediately behind the shield; the greatest width may frequently fall on the posterior margin of the shield from where the specimens gradually attenuate backwards. A part (about 40 per cent) of the animals seem to be rather swollen, with their tergites and sternites removed from one another. The swollen exemplars are also slightly longer and considerably thicker than the other ones, but this does not mean any true difference in measurements as the longth of their setae and legs do not exceed that of the "unswollen" ones. The difference is presumably due to the diverse reactions of the various rigidity of their chitinous cover to the chemicals used in conservation. — Rostrum 28 p. long, held obliquely downwards. Shield together with frontal lobe 59 p. long (frontal lobe 14 p,). Shield semicircular in a superior view, almost wholly Figs. 1., 2. : Tetra peueedani sp. n., 1 : shield, 2 : shield and legs laterally. — Figs. 3-5. : Epitrimerus bidensi sp. n., 3: shield, 4: shield with anterior lobe laterally, 5: claw. — Figs. 6., 7.: Epitrimerus oculusinulae sp. n., 6: shield with anterior lobe laterally, 7: shield
