towards tip, about five times as long as thick, thinner than pedicel, second joint longer than first, about five times as long as wide, somewhat thickened in middle. Third joint a bit shorter than second, about five times as long as broad, wholly cylindrical, similar to following (except last) joints. Fourth funicle joint shorter than third, 5. shorter than 4.,. 6. shorter than 5., 7. shorter than 6., last joint about one and a half times as long as 7., thickest in middle, gradually narrowing towards tip. Length of hairs equal to width of respective joints. Otherwise as in female. One female was collected by Dr. J. Erdős on 2. June 1955, taken from Picea excelsa ; Hegyalja, Hungary. Biology : 4 specimens (3 Q , 1 rf) were bred from a puparium of Aleurochiton aceris, collected by Prof Dr. G. Szelényi, Budapest (Kecskehegy), Hungary, on 15. April 1957. Allotype preserved in the Hung. Nat. Hist. Mus. in Budapest, Hungary. 2. Isolia A. Foerster 1878 Head transverse. Vertex with sharp transverse ridge between bare eyes. Ocelli forming a triangle. Mandibles (fig. 5.) tridentate. Antennae 10-jointed.
