Scutellum semicircular. Propodeum with a silvery, translucent, undulating membrane, thickest in middle. Proand mesopleurae smooth and shining. Metapleurae with dense, silvery, short hairs. Abdomen broad, similar to abdomen of Telenominae (Asolcus) ; with 7 visible segments. Petiole narrow at base, suddenly broadened towards apex, with very dense, silvery, short hairs. Second tergite longest and broadest. Wings without any veins. Hind wings with two hocklets. Femur of hind legs thickened in middle. Tarsi 5-jointed. Generotype : Isolia Foersteri sp. n. çf Q . Key to the species of the Palaearctie region 1 (2) Scape strongly thickened in middle, pedicel longer than following 3-joints together, first funicle joint as long as wide. Ocelli almost touching eyemargin. Wings smoky, hind wings of female rudimental, spatuliform, those of male fully developed. 1. Isolia Foersteri sp. n. 2 (1) Scape not strongly thickened in middle, pedicel a little longer than first and second joints united, first funicle joint twice as long as wide. Hind ocelli separated from eyemargins by twice their diameter. Base of wings hyaline, forewings with small brownish spot in middle, distal end of forewings slightly fumid. Isolia Foersteri sp. n. çf Q (fig. 6) Ç Head transverse, a bit more than three times as wide as long and a little more than twice as high as long. Head reticulate with deep punctures. Punctures on front especially on lower part of front hardly visible, smooth and shining above antennái sockets. Transverse ridge of vertex very low. Cheeks one and a half times as long as eyes. Middle tooth of mandibles smallest. Scape about four times as long as broad, strongly thickened, in distal 2 / ;î weekly excised, on distal 1 / 3 longer than all six following joints united. Pedicel pyriform, about three times as long as broad, a bit longer than three following joints combined. First funicle joint longer but narrower than following one, cylindrical, 2. and 3. equal in length, 4. and 5. cupuliform, thicker than two preceding joints together. Club 3-jointed, first and second club joints ecjual in length and form, last joint a little more than one and a half times as long as preceding one, gradually weakened towards tip. Praeseutum with fine, dense reticulation and punctures. Mesoscutum with fine, dense, indistinct punctures and with some deep, scattered punctures. Scutellum semicircular, with many longitudinal and scattered lines, with a single well visible keel in middle. Propodeum with a translucent, irregularly undulating membrane. Pro- and mesopleurae without any longitudinal keels. Propleurae smooth and shining, upper part of metapleurae with silvery, dense, microscopical hairs, lower half with
