the following, 3 rd —5 th tergite subequal, 6 th a little shorter than the first. Abdomen strongly pointed at apex, depressed above, but not deeply concave ; tip of the ovipositor visible. Length : 2—1 mm. Holotype : Hungary, Nagykovácsi : Nagyszénás, 7. VII. 1953. I have taken the single female specimen in a Festucetum sulcatae plant community. Male not seen. Host unknown. Blue, the mesoscutum more green, antennae yellow, distal half of the scape and the pedicel brown, proximal half of the former whitish, funicle somewhat dusky ; legs clear yellow with metallic coxae ; abdomen brownish yellow, at the base more brownish, without metallic tint ; palpi red ; tegulae yellow. Head thick, broader than thorax (1 : 1,3), twice as wide as long (1 : 2), vertex tolerably long, hind ocelli about twice as far from the hind margin of the vertex as from the eye margin ; temples (seen from above) somewhat longer than the third the width of the eyes ; cheeks a third the length of the eyes ; front slightly impressed above the antennae. Antennae inserted a little above the lower eye margin ; scape cylindrical, a little longer than the five following joints together ; pedicel broader and longer than the second funicle joint ; funicle 1 ring-shaped, transverse, and less than half the length of funicle 2, although clearly longer than the genuine ring joints ; funicle 2—6 quadrate, almost longer than broad, covered with white hairs, the length of the latter somewhat less than the greatest width of the respective joint ; funicle gradually thickening distad, club as long as the three preceding joints together, delicately 3-segmented, the apical joint small, tapering at apex.
