A Magyar Nemzeti Múzeum — Természettudományi Múzeum kiállításai írta: Boros István, Budapest A Magyar Nemzeti Múzeum — Természettudományi Múzeum régebbi kiállításainak korszerűsítése csak a század 30-as éveiben kezdődött meg. Egy korszerűen újjárendezett őslénytári kiállítást 1942-ben nyitnak meg, de teljes fordulatot a múzeumügy s Így a múzeumi kiállítások terén is csak az 1945-ben bekövetkezett nagyszabású változások jelentettek. A múzeumok, különösen a természettudományi múzeumok az iskolán kívüli és részben az iskolai oktatás igen fontos szerveivé és a világnézeti oktatás intézményeivé alakultak át. Ennek megfelelően mind kiállítási tárgyi anyaguk kiválasztásában, mind didaktikai módszereik kidolgozásában új utakon járnak. A legfőbb szempontok, amelyeket ezekben a vonatkozásokban a múzeum megvalósítani igyekszik, nagy vonalaikban a következők : 1. Kiállításai tematikusak; nem csupám rendszertani sorrend szerint kiállított ásványt, állatot, növényt, őslényt mutat be, hanem rendszerint egy-egy téma köré csoportosított anyagot állít ki, és ennek keretében ismerteti azt, részlettematika szerint ismét tagoltan. 20* 307
