. Mit X. coronata und provida verwandt, ja gewissermassen eine Zusammenstellung aus diesen beiden. Ç . — Schwarz, Kopf fast ganz gelb behaart, Thorax schwarz, auch die Beine und Abdomen, über Scutellum mit breiter gelbhaariger Binde, Ilinterrand vom Scutellum scharf. Flügel dunkelbraun, mit blaugrünen Schimmer. Abdomen dicht punktirt. L. 18—22 mm. 3 Ç von Obi — (Eilanden) — (BERNSTEIN leg.) Neu-Guinea — (BÍRÓ leg.) — bei Erima und Stephansort. an der Astrolabe Bai und Simbang am Huon Golf. $ cf Bongu, K.
