Egyptian paintings and reliefs. About the half of the 19th century as an example of such solution could be mentioned the "Neues Museum" in Berlin (18401848) with interiors copying Egyptian temple rooms, or a little bit later Egyptian halls of the "Kunsthistorisches Museum" in Vienna (1871-1877). The idea of Belzoni to show to the audience except for authentic relics also copies and models of "not portable" works became also current in last few years using of course much more excellent methods of copying and reproduction. It is enough to remind here great photographic copies (1:1 scale) of the decorations of the Theban tomb of Sennefer, exhibited in Hildesheim, Berlin and Linz.
