• Collection of objects The collection of ethnographical objects held by the Hungarian Open Air Museum is continually expanding through systematic collection and purchase. This is based on our collection plan which supports the growth of the institution, in connection with the settlement plan. By 2006 there were 54,172 registered objects in the collection approximately. 25,550 can be seen in the permanent displays, some of the rest can be studied in the ethnographical Study Collection. (See page 184-185). Information about the rest can be found on our website and local network. • Hungarian Folk Architectural Archive (MNÉA) This encompasses the documentation archives; the photographic, slide, video, cd-dvd collections; the buildings documentation, and the historical archives. It includes the folk architectural surveys, ethnographical and historical data, information about objects in the collection and scientific research papers. It consisted of 4388 items in 2007. The building archives contain the architectural, ethnographical and historical documentation relating to all the buildings included in the settlement plan of the museum or used as analogies. In 2007 it consisted of 340 numbered items
