VIII Church from Óbudavár The slender tower of the Roman Catholic Church dedicated to Saint Martin overlooks the regional unit. The tiled stone building is an authentic copy of the church built at Óbudavár in 1836. The sanctuary with a halfcupola is arched from the inside and polygonal on the outside. the wall. The altar piece from the early 20th century depicts Saint Martin. In the organ-loft a small organ with five organ-stops from Iszkaszentgyörgy dates from 1870 and was built by Ferenc Szalai from Székesfehérvár Its console stretches into the nave as it did at its original location. The ornamental wall paintings v. I I have yet to be completed. There is chest for vestments, a rack, a wall crucifix, a holy-water sprinkler and a censer in the vestry. The church chest under the rack belonged to the interior of the original church. In front of the church stands a sandstone crucifix from Csabrendek with four figures carved by a master from Rezi. The Crucified Christ stands in the centre with his mother the Blessed Virgin at his foot, whilst figures of Saint Joseph and Saint Anne stand at the side. The carving is in rustic style. The single-nave church with surbased spherical vaults is entered through a stone-framed door The floor is covered by stone tiles in the nave, while the sacristy and the place under the pews are covered by brick. The pews and the altar of Mary of Lourdes are copies of the original. In the nave there are plaster statues of Jesus and Mary while under the choir the plaster statues of Saint Theresa and Saint Anthony of Padua stand on wooden plinths.
