JÁVOR KATA: Egy mezőgazdasági vállalkozócsalád sikeres gazdálkodási stratégiája a rendszerváltás utáni Zsombón
KATA JÁVOR A successful farming strategy of an enterprising farmer family in Zsombó after the change of regime This study is to analyze the modernization of a selected family farm in Zsombó in the south of the Great Hungarian Plain from private funds with the aim of presenting a successful adaptation strategy by agricultural producers. The purpose of the examination is to identify one of the economic strategies that enabled them to survive amidst the agricultural and political changes involved in the change of regime and the accession to the EU. The research is focused not only on the co-operation between two - now middle-aged - brothers and their families but also on the farming by the two preceding generations with the goal of identifying elements of continuity and change. It is worth the while to observe the simultaneous existence of the distinctive characteristics of both the peasant's and the entrepreneur's mentality and later the predominance of the latter among the generations to come.
