ORVAR LÖFGREN: Európai etnológia az „új gazdaság" hálójában
ORVAR LÖFGREN European ethnology in the jungles of "the new economy" To outsiders European ethnology sometimes seems like a discipline continously reinventing itself, always in search of new topics, pespectives and theories. It is a discipline which is kept together by a specific habitus, the elusive "ethnological perspective" - a certain mode of doing research. I will argue that behind this image of flux and flexibility there also remains some stable features. Therefore I will start by briefly looking at some classic ethnological virtues and then move on to ways in which ethnologists could explore the brave new world which sometimes is called "Life in the New Economy".
