The painters and graphic artists involved in this exhibition are listed almost without fail (20 out of 23) with a selection of exhibit titles by baron Pál Nyáry in his little book on Polish painting published in the same year: Nyáry R báró: A lengyel festészet [Polish painting]. N.p. [Budapest], 1943, pp. 22-23. Since the author mainly discusses earlier periods and only devotes contemporary painting and graphic art a paragraph each (by listing mainly the names) for shortage of space, the publication was more of a gesture, just like the exhibition itself.
