Összefoglaló (angolul)
100 hectares productive are rose by 75 per cent; thus the index number of animal density changed from 14,3 to 25,0. The rate of development of the individual animal species was different. The farm increased its cattle stock by some 50 per cent and tripled its pig-stock, while simultaneously with the mechanization its horsestock was gradually reduced. Poultry raising stopped completely, while the sheepstock was adjusted to the capacity of pastures. Among the progress of production forces the exceptionally rapid development of intellectual forces has to be mentioned separately. In the period when the Cooperative Farm was established, middle and high grade qualification was represented — among the leaders — only by the president of the Farm. In 1969 this level of qualification was attained already by 35 persons among the leading workers of the Farm. The stability of the labour situation was considerably enhanced by the leaders of the farm who consequently supported the homeplot activities of the cooperative members, irrespective of the central economicpolitical directives. The favourable result of the connection between homeplot and collective farm was indicated also by the fact that — against the countrywide tendency — the cattle stock in the homeplots did not diminish but, on the contrary, increased by about 20 per cent. Naturally, with the advancement of homeplot farming kept in view the development of collective farming and the increase of the production level remained always central questions. In the first years following the establishment of the Cooperative Farm about 412 hectares agriculturally cultivated area fell to one tractorunit, which by 1969 decreased to 555 hectares. The number of powermachines expressed in tractorunits increased from 1,6 in the year 1960 to 67,2 by 1969. For the purpose of increasing the yields of crop production the amount of chemical fertilizers utilized by the Farm has been continuously grown. In the first years this quantity was still minimum. A substantial increase occurred in the last six year?, when against the 893 q active agent of the year 1963 in 1969 a fertilizer quantity corresponding to 3343 y net active agent was applied already. Making use of the joining of the surrounding farms the specialization of animal breeding was gradually introduced and the earlier traditional animal-breeding farm-steads were replaced by specialized farm units. In addition to a basic agricultural activity several auxiliary branches were organized with the continuous employment of members and a more economical production and marketing of the products in view. The creation of a feed-mixing unit directly promoted the production and profitability of animal breeding. A laboratory for the permanent control of feedqualities was attached to it. The laboratory has an important role in the quality analysis of products arriving in the farm and leaving it too. The refrigerating, storaging, wine-processing and bottling units promote the economical marketing of products. The catering unit of the Farm has acquired
