ABSTRACT 120 years in time and space. The history of Vajdahunyad Castle and the Museum of Hungarian Agriculture in several dimensions Eva Vörös The Museum and Library of Hungarian Agriculture and its home, Vajdahunyad Castle in City Park, celebrated the 120th anniversary of their creation in 2016. This paper examines the methodology of two commemorative exhibitions for the anniversary, Images in Time - Photo exhibition dedicated to the 120 year old Vajdahunyad Castle, and Our treasures and unique artefacts - Rarely seen, valuable artefacts of the 120-year-old Museum of Hungarian Agriculture from its foundation to the present day. It also provides a short presentation of some of the more outstanding artefacts of the two exhibitions. These mostly concentrate on the narrative elements surrounding the objects in question. By giving some details of the selected photographs, it offers a time travel to the various localities and buildings of historical Hungary that served as the models for the components of the original and current castle. The essay also gives an outline of the 120 year old history of the museum, with some mentions of key historical events and related personalities. 83 i I
