elaborated, the material of 42 sites are still unprocessed. The material of 4 sites from the Neolithic Age, 2 from the Copper Age, 4 from the Bronze Age, 2 from the Iron Age, 9 from the Roman Age, 1 from the Migration Period, 13 from the Avar Age, 5 from the time of the Hungarian settlement in the Carpathian basin, 3 from the Arpadian Age, 12 from the late Middle Ages, 1 from the time of the Turkish rule, and 1 from the Modern Age were taken into inventory. In the archaeological collection there are 90 animal bones from the Pleistocene Age, among them various bones of the wool-bearing rhinoceros, the mammoth, the aurochs, the cave-bear, the bison, the red deer, the elk and the reindeer should be mentioned. The animal-bone collection got a separate book of inventory in 1964. Detailed description cards have been kept since 1951. The traditional inventory records are mostly professional, precise and up-to-date. The special literature of the collection has been partially elaborated.
