TANULMÁNYOK - Tringli István: Állami tudománytámogatás a két világháború közti Magyarországon

The objective was to "create a mobile monetary source. The National Science Fund was established in 1930 from money specially reserved for this purpose in the budget. From this fund different sums could be won by competition. The fund was directed by an autonomous organization. As a result of the economic crisis the fund shrunk into insignificance, and the cultural government of the late thirties did not intend to resuscitate it, so that during that era it had a secondary, supplementary role only.
