SUMMARY GYULA BATARI: INDUSTRIAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL PERIODICALS IN HUNGARY IN THE 19» CENTURY In Hungary the first industrial and technical papers were published in the 1830s. The first periodical which can be considered „technical" in the sence of the present meaning was the Gazette of the Society of Hungarian Engineers founded in 1867. The list of titles published here contains papers concerning industry, technics, crafts and those on safeguarding of industrial interests. Foreign language publications which were issued in Hungary are also included.
