issued periodically. The special calendars contained the basic knowledge of the trade out of the usual calendar data. The growing requirements for information made necessary the publication of the annuals and the directories. The directories - called by that time as schematisms - contained the names and some basic data of the officers of the civil state. The content of the annuals was more abundant since they rendered account about the activity of the government, the companies and of the associations. Most of the annuals concerning transport have been published during the time of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. The annuals and calendars were prepared for railwaymen, shipmen and drivers but some annuals were made for freighters, too. In her study the Author demonstrates briefly the annuals, trade-calendars and calendars prepared for transport sub-branches and trades. Part IV. From The Collection Of The Transport Museum János Hídvégi: The Restoration Of The Small Lorry Magomobil. The manifacture of automobiles had been commenced in 1904 by the Millbuilding and Machine Factory of Budapest. At the beginning the factory purchased the right of manufacture and parts of units for assembling from the Cudell Works of Aachen, but later it started with its own production, too. The products were sold under the name of Phönix. The factory had changed its name in 1912 to Hungarian General Machine Factory Share Company and sold its automobiles under the name MAG. Before the 1st World War the following three types of automobiles were developed on the basis of the designs of Jenő Fejes: an 18,4 kW (25 HP) car, a small lorry with the same power and a 33,1-36,8 kW (45-50 HP) large lorry. By 1924 the automobil had been modernized and the new one was sold under the name Magomobil being produced for four years. The greatest orders had been placed by Autotaxi Budapest Automobil Transport Share Company, but customers were the public offices and the taxi owners, too. The company did not produce carriage bodies, these had to be manifactured by carriage builders according to the requirements of the customers. The Magomobils were simple, but handy vehicles. The legal successor of the Autotaxi Share Company, the Autotaxi Company of Budapest put into service the Magomobiles remained after the 2nd World War. Their scrapping took place in 1952. The Author describes in his study that the restored Magomobil of the Transport Museum had been a taxi originally but after its scrapping a private customer converted it into a small lorry. Most probably the vehicle had been used as a small lorry only a few times since not a single pice of the floor of the platform required replacement. But the conversion made it necessary to strenghten several component. The parts of the transmission of the vehicle were original and their condition was good, only the cylinder head was missing, which could be not replaced by an original one. During the restoration the usual works were foreseen to put the vehicle in working order, but despite of that the permanent operability of the vehicle could not be achieved. The restorer prepared the missing cylinder head by welding on the basis of the castiron cylinderhead preserved by the Museum and cut in various directions. After careful assembling the parts the restoration of the small lorry has been completed and brought into a technically and aesthetically perfect and operable condition. The restoration of the vehicle has been financed by the Millenáris KHT (Millenary Public Utility) in 2001 and the vehicle was a significant exponat of the exhibition "Dreamer of Dreams" till its closing. The vehicle rests presently in the store of the Transport Museum. Győző Jutkusz - Zsolt Miszlay: The Transport Museum On The Internet. The basic network of the computer system has been installed in the central building complex of the Transport Museum in 2001 and in the archives and store basis in the Tatai street in 2002. That enabled the computer supported processing of the collections and the establishment of the data basis. The home page of the Museum provides information about the opening of new exhibitions and the activity of the institution. The internet makes 402
