In the information about technical tasks the paper reports on the activities carried out in the year under consideration concerning exhibition building, restoration, operation, renewal and investment. As a conclusion of the detailed yearly summaries the paper reports on the fulfilment of the economic tasks and informs about the numerical data of the economy of the Museum. Parti The History Of The Collections Of The Transport Museum Dr.LászIó Eperjesi: In his paper "The Historical Collection Of Bonds In The Transport Museum" the Author reports that the independent collection of shareholdings has been established in 1965 and at present it consists of 256 inventorized pieces. In this collection government securities, priority bonds, mortage-bonds, intrest-bearing bonds and lottery tickets can be found. The list of the collection contains the name, the kind, the date of issue, the nominal value and the number of pieces concerning the bonds. Erzsébet Molnár: "Catalogue I Of The Glass Plates Of The Transport Museum". The collection of negatives exceeds 100 000 pieces, of which the glass plates represent only a small amount, but despite of that, their culture-historical value is of a great significance. The Museum started to develope its collection of negatives at the end of the 1950s. Till the beginning of the 60s mainly glass plates were taken into inventory, celluloid films were very rear. The majority of the glass plates have been prepared in the 1930s, but unfortunately their definition of theme is incomplete and unreliable, moreover it is uncertain, what is their origin and who prepared them. This catalogue contains the negatives in connection with shipping and railway. In the first place in the catalogue there are: the number of the negative and the theme of the picture, followed by a brief information. In many cases the date of taking the picture is uncertain, or not known at all. Next come the sources of reproductions, or original pictures, as far as they are known, and finally the dimensions and form of the glass plate can be seen. József Soltész: "The Model Collection Of The Scale Of 1:5 Of The Transport Museum". The Author informs in his paper about the more than 100-year history of the development of the world-famous collection of models of the scale of 1:5 consisting at present of more than 106 pieces. In Hungary the first railway model, the locomotive called "Derű" (Serenity) has been built by the brothers Lajos Nagy and Gergely Nagy between 1845 and 1847. While preparing for the millennium celebrations in 1896 the committee of experts of MÁV had marked out those railway vehicles, which had to represent the railway transport on the exhibition in the form of models. 90 models have been prepared for the exhibition in the workshops of the MÁV, of the locomotive and wagon builders and of the private railways. The models were accurate reconstructions of the original vehicles and even their material corresponded to that of the originals. It happened several times that the model was used as pattern when renewing the original vehicle. By 1944 the collection consisted already of 119 pieces, but unfortunately 19 models were destroyed, or disappered due to the devastations during the second World War and several models are waiting still today for renewal. At present the condition of only 91 models permit their exhibition. The catalogue of these models illustrated by photos (if available) represents a supplement of the paper. Part II Papers In Connection With Transport History And Methodology Mrs. Kóczián, Dr.Erzsébet Szentpéteri: In her paper "Scientific Work In The Museum Between 1993 and 1998" the Author sums up the external cicumstances, wich reached at the begining of the 90s 439
