4. Régészeti kutatások az aquincumi katonaváros területén, 1999 (Madarassy Orsolya)
hetett a limesutat keletről kísérő épületsor vége és a lakótömb központi udvara. A nagy lakóházak keleti zárófalát egyelőre nem sikerült lokalizálnunk, előkerült viszont egy 3. századi ház konyhájának részlete, több típusú kemencével, agyagpultokkal és egy agyagfallal kerített amforatárolóval. A 3. század első évtizedeiben a terület keleti szélén nagyobb tereprendezés után új észak-déli utat alakítottak ki. A telek északi szélén lévő beépítés a területünktől északra lévő épületegységhez tartozik. 1993-ban a Lajos utca 122. előzetes feltárásán egy hosszú lakóház porticusa és északi zárófala került elő. Az eredeti 2. századi ház déli lezárása a mai Tímár utcai úttest alatt húzódhat. A 3. század tízes és hatvanas évei között ezt a bérházat fokozatosan bővítették, korszerűsítették. Új helyiségsort alakítottak ki, az egyik terrazzopadlós helyiséget a padló elbontásával két szobára osztották. Három helyen apszisos kiképzéssel fürdőhelyiséget vagy dísztermet építettek. (4. kép) A katonaváros délnyugati negyedében kisebb, szondázó jellegű feltárásokat végeztünk. A San Marco utca 17. telken egy korai, földbe mélyített, karó-sövényszerkezetű, agyagfalú épület került elő. A new north-south running road was constructed in the eastern part of the area following large-scale landscaping in the first decades of the 3 rd century. The construction in the northern part of the lot belonged to the building unit north of this area. The portico and the closing wall of a long block of flats was unearthed during the preliminary excavations at 122 Lajos Street in 1993. The original end wall of the house from the 2 nd century must lie under the driveway of Tímár Street. This block of flats was gradually enlarged and modernised between the 10s and the 60s of the 3 rd century. A new series of rooms
