A San Marco utca 32. telken egy 23. századi ház néhány helyiségét tártuk fel. A katonaváros kiürítése után ez a terület már külterületnek számít, egy-egy késő római segédcsapat temetkezett az elplanírozott épületek mentén, a felhagyott házak alapfalait sírkertnek használva fel. Az itt előkerült 4. századi feldúlt téglasír a területünktől nyugatra lévő temető egyik parcellájához tartozhatott. A nyugati városszélen a Bécsi út 189. telek feltárásán egy visszabontott 2-3. századi épületfalat, fölötte pedig két késő római planírozási réteget figyeltünk meg. A Föld utca 54. telek kutatása során a Kiscelli utcai fazekas telep kewere added, and one of the rooms with terrazzo pavements was divided into two parts by removing the pavement. Baths or a ceremonial hall were built with an apsidal construction. (Figure 4) Smaller test excavations were conducted in the southwestern quarter of the Military Town. An early, sunken house with wattle-and-daub walls was unearthed at 17 San Marco Street, which was overlain by the remains of levelling and then by the levels of, probably, an inner yard from the 2 nd and 3 rd centuries. Some rooms from a house used in the 2 nd-3 rd centuries were unearthed at 32 San Marco Street. After the Military Town had been evacuated, this area became the outskirts of the center, some late Roman auxiliary troops buried their dead among the levelled buildings, using the foundation walls of the abandoned houses as a graveyard. The disturbed brick grave from the 4 th century found here must have belonged to a sector of the cemetery to the west of our area.
