HONTI LÁSZLÓ Adalék az U/FU/Ug alapnyelvi *зтз és *С(з)тз szekvenciáknak és magyar képviseleteiknek viszonyához1 Proto-Uralic/Proto-Finno-Ugric/Proto-Ugric lexemes usually reconstructed with intervocalic *m lead to Hungarian reflexes containing either m or (*m > *w >) V, with the latter alternatively resulting in a long vowel after coalescing with the stem vowel. There is no explanation for the bifurcating Hungarian development. In another subset of the lexicon of the Proto-language, characterised by the sequence liquid (/, r), voiced interdental fricative (ő, Ő) + (vowel +) m, either the first or the second consonant of the sequence disappeared or changed in Hungarian, and in a handful of words the m remained. Such sequences resulted in similar reflexes in several Uralic languages, but the three Ugric languages show almost complete uniformity in retaining or eliminating the first consonant of the sequence (with only two exceptions). The fate of these sequences is similar in some Uralic languages to that of*j(V)m. Finally, the present paper argues for the reconstruction of л and л instead of ő and ő for Uralic and Finno-Ugric, based on evidence enumerated in the paper Phonological and semantic correspondences in Uralic etymological research (pp 43-60). Bevezetés Kb. másfél éve jelent meg a magyar nyelv törökségi jövevényszavairól írott gigantikus „Róna-Tas - Berta 2011a, 2011b” mű. Nagyrészt Róna-Tas András munkája a hangtörténeti fejtegetések sokasága. Láthatóan kellőképpen tájékozott mind az uráli, mind a magyar hangtörténetben, ezért is érdekfeszítő olvasmány e munka. Természetesen lehetetlen volt a megjelenés óta eltelt igen rövid idő alatt 1 A mássalhangzó-kapcsolatokban a C = /, ő, ö, r,j. Több alkalommal is foglalkoztam azzal, hogy a *S és a *ö mássalhangzóknak az uráli és a finnugor alapnyelvre való rekonstruálása fonematikusan és hangtörténetileg aligha indokolható, helyette a (némely szibériai nyelvekben, egyebek közt az osztjákban is meglévő) *л-Х és *a-t javaslom (Honti 1992, 2001: 243, 2004). Az egyszerűség kedvéért most megtartom a hagyományosjelölést, tehát: *ő-t és *<5-t írok. E dolgozatom tárgyát elsődlegesen azok a szekvenciák szolgáltatják, amelyekben a C likvida helyett áll, a j elemű szekvenciákat csak a hangtörténeti párhuzam miatt vettem fel anyagomba.
