The more simple and more aggregated grouping, taking into consideration only the availability of a bath-room (wash-basin alcove) and of a flush toilet inside the dwelling, assures comparability with the 1960 and earlier data. In this grouping, dwellings with all modern comforts do not yet form a separate category but are indicated among those with comforts. The simplified levels of comforts are the following: — a dwelling with comforts is one which has a bathroom (wash-basin alcove) and alsó a flush toilet; — a dwelling with half-comfort is one which has either a bathroom (wash-basin alcove) or a flush toilet; — a dwelling without comforts is one which has neither bathroom (wash-basin alcove) nor flush toilet.
