Restaurálás - Konzerválás - Kovács Petronella: Egyiptomi fatárgyak restaurálásának problémái

THE MORALS OF RESTORING PAINTED EGYPTIAN IN OBJECTS During the work of a paractising restorer - besides the objects to be restored - he/she faces these issues: 1. The methods of his/her predecessors, the restoration traditions, 2. the modern tendencies, 3. the curator, and 4. the probleme of the ability to hold exhibitions and their presentation. All these effect the progress of the restoration and the selection'of the methods to be followed. The author, in her article, demonstrates the restoration of five different church, private and state-owned Egyptian painted objects. She gives a brief review on the Hungarian collection history of the Egyptian objects.
