kormányzatunk sokkal gyorsabban szüntet meg valamit, mintsem a működőképességét biztosítaná. Épülhetnek még elképzelések a múlt őrizgetése alapján, de ezeknek sem jósolhatunk túl nagy jövőt, mert a Tühta finanszírozást ma senki sem vállalja. A kibontakozás csak akkor következhet be, ha pontosan fölmérjük a magyar restaurálás állapotát és nem próbálunk hamis illúziókat táplálni. Tálán túl sok keserűségnek adtam hangot, de szeretném azzal zárni a dignózist, hogy én lennék a legboldogabb, ha az elkövetkezendő 20-30 évben nem kellene helyzetfelmérésekkel és koncepcionális kérdésekkel foglalkoznom. INTENTIONS, INTERESTS AND PERSPECTIVES OF HUNGARIAN RESTORATION Abstracts: The paper is trying to give the main features of the reasons which caused the profession to fall behind the European level, analysing today’s situation in Hungarian restoration. Two of the mumerous criterions deserves marked attention: the restoration was embedded into the dictatorship of the socialist cultural-policy and the smaller-larger deformations which made the moderate or weak performances appear ditinguished. The renewed activity of ventures, the saved delusion from the past, and the indefinability of the important basis of restoration mean a better chance for industrial works instead of real restoration. The restoration which is strengthtened by the rules of ventures may lead to the fact, that our cultural policy could loose influence on the field of conservation and presentation of works of art. The only solution could be to establish and stabilize the institutions and organisations, which are made work by the uniform restoration principles and, first of all, in a Central Restoration Institute, at the University departments, which guarantee the high level and through the Chamber of Restorers safeguards the interests of this field.
