Előszó

On the mentioned Conference particularly the common responsibility of the museologist and of the restorer was emphasized. This became also the first opportunity, where responsible leaders and curators of museums expressed their opinions, proposals, points of view in front of restorers. /Miklós Mojzer was because of illness absent, but we got and published his manuscript, too./

As far as the conference is concerned, the lectures included the topics of archeological and general art restoring and of methods of material investigation. In most cases we were given the manuscripts which could be brought in this volume.

It is to be mentioned that the report of Mrs. France Drilhon /Paris, Louvre/ had to be digested, since the wording was tightly connected with the pictures.

According to our future plans we continue the running issue of the Museological Protection of Museum Art Objects, and we shall publish in this year the lectures deliverd on the IV International Restorers’ Seminar, within volumes 11/1983 and 12/1984.

VORWORT

Wie schon im Vorwort des Bandes 9/1981 der "Schutz musealer Kunstwerke" darauf hingewiesen wurde, ist duese Auflage die direkte Fortsetzung des Vorgehendes.

Die Redigierung wurde parallel durchgeführt. So ist es verständlich, dass einige der im Jahre 1981 verfertigten Diplomarbeiten, deren Mehrzahl im Band 9 erschienen war, nun hier mitgeteilt werden.

Zugleich werden auch die inzwischen zu unserer Institution eingesandten Beiträge und teilweis die Vorträge der in 1982 gehaltenen 9. Landeskonferenz der Restauratoren publiziert.
