Heir General verzeihen mir, dass ich, unbeauftragt von ihm, mir erlaube Bemerkungen zu machen und meinen Standpunkt darzulegen, aber ich bin ein Pole und der Agent eines Mannes, welcher so viele Jahre für Polen gearbeitet hat und arbeitet, so drangen wir denn überall, wo eine Hoffnung für Polen aufleuchtet, unsre treue, stets bereite Hilfe für die Sache unseres Vaterlandes auf. Ich bitte Herrn General um Annahme dieser Hilfe. Heute haben Herr General die Hoffnung unsrer Sache in seiner Hand. Erlauben Sie, dass wir Ihm dienend, unserem Vaterlande dienen und nehmen Sie die Beweise meiner grössten Hochachtung an, mit denen ich die Ehre habe zu bleiben etc. etc. ~ .. , M. Czajkowski. 31.
