ARCHIVAL REVIEW [LEVÉLTÁRI SZEMLE] Another important quarterly publication of the Archives is the Archival Review, the first issue of which appeared as the Archival Observer in 1951. This periodical, published in cooperation with the Society of Hungarian Archivists since the year 1985, regularly presents studies on the latest achievements from the entire archival field (such as policy issues, methodology etc.) It also pays attention to the latest news and developments of the life of the international archival community providing up-to-date professional information for all readers in the archival field (including the national, local, academic and specialised archives). The Archival Review has its own pages within the website of the National Archives, where, in addition to the Hungarian, English and German language table of contents, the full text of all published issues is available: www.mol.gov.hu/szemle/szemle.htm TURUL Published as the common quarterly of the Hungarian Historical Society, the Society of Heraldry and Genealogy and the National Archives, the Turul deals mainly with heraldry and family history research. After its first appearance between 1885 and 1950 the journal was resumed in 1992.
