ARCHIVAL REVIEW [LEVÉLTÁRI SZEMLE] Another important quarterly publication of the Archives is the Archival Review, the first issue of which appeared as the Archival Observer in 1951. This periodical, published in cooperation with the Society of Hungarian Archivists since the year 1985, regularly presents studies on the latest achievements from the entire archival field (such as policy issues, methodology etc.) It also pays attention to the latest news and developments of the life of the international archival community providing up-to-date professional information for all readers in the archival field (including the national, local, academic and specialised archives). After its first appearance between 1885 and 1950 the journal was resumed in 1992.
