Digitisation The latest large-scale publishing venture of the National Archives is the digitisation of outstan­ding and indispensable sources of selected historical periods. The Archival Sources of the Medieval Hungary [A középkori Magyarország levéltári forrásai] - This database, containing about 100000 registers, includes all documents and charters created before 1526 in the territory of the historical Hungary or those created elsewhere but can be regarded as Hungarian­related, the charter extracts and registers of the l-vil volumes of the series entitled Sigismund of Luxemburg Charter Collection. The Royal Books l-V [Királyi Könyvek /-l/J -The volumes of the series published so far present the 1527-1767 entries of the Royal Books preserved in the Archives of the Hun­garian Chancellery, This collection of sources represents an invaluable treasure as these were the volumes where the charters issued by the Royal Chancellery documenting the perpetual rights of persons and communities, counties, cities, towns, villages and church. The Agenda Items of Cabinet Meetings [Minisztertanácsi ülések napirendi pontjai] -This publication presents the full list of the items on the agenda of cabinet meetings of every government existed between the Austro-Hungarian Reconciliation of 1867 and the German occupation of Hungary on 19 March 1944. The Agenda Items of the Meetings of the Central Organs of the Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party (1956-1989) [A Magyar Szocia­lista Munkáspárt központi vezető szervei üléseinek napirendi jegyzékei (1956-1989)] -The records of the Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party, i.e. the state party of Hunga­rian communists created after the suppression of the 1956 revolution, bear an outstanding significance for the research concerning the history of Hungary in the second half of the 20 th century. Some additional computer databases also worth mentioning like the inventories suppor­ting the genealogy material of the Archives or the register of the Archives of the Hungarian Chamber, more precisely, of the nobility charters preserved there. These days, the processing and publication of the records created after 1945 are gaining an increasing significance in the scientific research carried out in the National Archives.
