T^hrough the past few decades ÍJLHungarian children from the south'“^em part of Connecticut come to the Greater Bridgeport area to celebrate Christmas. They recite and sing in Hungarian, though most of them were bom in America. Every year the Pannónia American Hungarian Club organizes and sponsors the event. Usually the performance is coached by a Hungarian school. This time the children’s class of the Magyar Studies of America prepared the performers, including other young members of the community. It was a heart warming event. All the stars should have top billing. So here they are: Tarren Horvath, András Mathe, David and Tamas Wolff, Taylor, Adam and Connor Shuurmans, Krisztina Poznan, Viktoria Mathe,Maya and Kayla Smith, Alyssa Minto, Dorien Pine, Krisztina Sorfozo, Gabriella and László Magyar, Dayton Horvath, and as a grown up member of the school, Edward Burke. Other grown up members of our communit also participated. Judith Balogh, presidentod the Club in her opening speach welcomed the audience and talked about the preperations, also about the activities of the Club. Reverend Dr. Sándor Havadtoy said the prayers. Judith Balogh gave out the years scholarships for children who generally take part in our Hungarian celebrations and programs.. All the children, performers or guests, received a box of Christmas goodies.
