TÁRSADALMI ÉLET: Ok­tóber 30-án, szombaton este 8 órai kezdettel hurka, kolbász, töltött káposzta, fánk kávéból szeretettel terített zenés gyüle­kezeti vacsorát rendez a 11-ik utcai egyház és a nőegylet. A 2 dolláros vacsorán nemcsak kitű­nő ételeket fog adni az egyház a kedves vendégeknek, de szóra­koztatásukra uj zenekart is zse­­repeltet. A “MARIKA” menyasszonyi ruha és kelengye divatszalon modern, szép helyiségben nyi­tott meg a közelmúltban High­land Parkon, a 212 Raritan Ave. alatt, a régi helyen. Messze vi­dékekről jönnek ide a menyasz­­szonyok és koszorúslányok ru­hát, öltözetet készítetni a nagy napra, mert a “Marika” divat­szalon neve és munkája ma már valóságos fogalom!
