Y., 1948. március 17. “A küldött CARE csomag tartalma, amely előttem fekszik, “valósággal isteni csoda.” Ezek azok a szavak, amelyeket egy magyar család irt amerikai barátjának, aki ezzel a küldeménnyel csak egy kis kellemes meglepetést aj kart szerezni. “Kitörő örömmel, boldogsággal s irántatok való végtelen hálával vettük át a CARE csomagot.” Bort iszik a sitgénylegény, Mikor útra indul szegény. Tüskebokor a várnája S a madár kiált rája. Talán bizony Perezel Móric A lóvéit ugratja'. « 'Szép ö maga, síép mindene Szé'p a paripaji, Vígan vágtat t honvédek Nyalka táborába. Első, első, légcső, Kossuth Lajoslaz első; Második a Viniisgréc, Kinek népe mtulig vész. Harmadik a Jdusics, A serege soha sincs, Negyedik a Co > Ki a svábot töreti. A Danubia szeretetcsomag szállító vállalat igazgatósága tovább folytatja a nagyszerűen bevált módszerét, hogy a csomagok címzettéi által sajátkeztileg aláirt nyugtákat továbbítja a feladóknak. Magyarországról ugyan repülőpöstával gyorsabban ér ide a boldog rokonok köszönőlevele mint a nagymennyiségű nyugtacsomagok, de Erdélyből- Romániából a Danubia nyugtái rendszerint megelőzik a rokonok köszönőleveleit és nagy megnyugvást keltenek azok között, akik aggódó szívvel indítják útnak segítségüket szeretteik számára. örömmel jelentjük, hogy a Danubia február 20-án elindított nagy szállítmányának csomagjait április 1 -én megkapták a magyarországi címzettek. Az erdély-romániai csomagok szétosztása ugyancsak esedékes. Mind ebből megállapítható, ohgy a Danubia szeretetcsomag szállítmányok példátlan gyorsasággal és a legsimábban érik el rendeltetési helyeiket. Az aratásig mindenhol nagy hiány mutatkozik a legkülönbözőbb élelmiszerekben. Európa a tavaszi hónapokban fogja megsinyleni a tavalyi rossz termést. Ezért fokozott mértékben van szükség a segítségre. A május 1 -én záruló uj nagy Danubia csomagakció ismét alkalmat ad mindenkinek arra, hogy elküldje élelmiszer és ruha segítségét á* hazai rokonainak és barátainak. Ne várjon senki az utolsó hétig csomagja feladásával. Juttassa el haladék nélkül azokat a Danubia helyi képviseletéhez, James E. Kayler & Co., (Kajla Imre), 4 Jersey Avenue, vagy küldje be a Railway Express, avagy posta utján a fő-C. A. R. Or maybe it’s the tiny cell which sparks your flashlight on a dark night. Chances are, whatever kind of battery you use, it was made in New Jersey. Here is another of our important industries, for New Jersey battery manufacturers produce more than $13,000,000* worth of dry and wet cell batteries every year. There are good reasons for diversified industry to locate in our state. With unexcelled transportation facilities, skilled labor, excellent supplies of raw materials and proximity to major markets, New Jersey stands sixth in the nation in total value of manufactured products. Public Service Electric and Gas Company, public servant of a great stale, commends, the battery industry on its accomplishments and its plans for future growth. ♦Statistic, U.S. Census Bureau A 146-48 ‘‘Zug az erdő, zug a mező” 3
