At the end he introduced those who were present, followed by a great applause. Edward Kováchy, one of the former presidents, just celebrated his 87th birthday right on that day. He received a tremendous recognition, even a special birthday-cake. Mrs. Ernest Hudák, wife of former president, and her sister were in charge of thé dinner. The Hungarian Gulyás was indeed authentic and most delicious, prepared by the excellent cook wearing an apron with the inscription: ‘Older than forty and still cooking!’ The Dobos Torta that followed and the Hungarian wine on the tables made the outstanding event unforgettable for those present.
