Not visited: Vancouver,DC. With God’s help, I would like to continue my service at the Hungarian Reformed Church in America and would like to visit every congregations in the future. In order to achieve my goals I would like to ask for the support of the pastors, officers and congregations of the Hungarian Reformed Church in America. Due to his appointment in the Calvin Synod, the Bishop's Council has accepted the resignation of Rt.Rev.Stefan M.Török, from the office of the Ecclesiastical Secretary. Rev.Ferenc Varga, Dean was appointed to continue the duties of the Ecclesiastical Secretary. May God bless his service. We thank Rt.Rev.Stefan M. Török for his many decade long services in our denomination. Glory be to God for his help and blessings in our denomination in the last four years. We served him faithfully in our congregations within three Classes. Eastern Classis: 15 congregations Atlanta,GA: New mission congregation with a great improvement by the service of Rev. Csaba Szilagyi. Boston,MA: New mission congregation by the service of Rev.Attila Tobias Bethlehem,PA The congregation is faithfully serves by the leadership of Rev.Ronald Hary and the Church Council. The sanctuary after renovation is beautiful. Carteret,NJ: Rev.Stefan M. Török left the Carteret,NJ congregation, and Rev.Charles Olah is the new supply pastor. Carolinas-Charlotte,NC and Columbia,SC: Two new mission congregations jointly with the service of Rev. András Debreczeni. Cliffside,NJ: Based on the written notice of the Dean, and the Minutes of the congregation, I acknowledge the dissolution of the Cliffside,NJ congregation and thank István Szabó, lay pastor and Honorary Chief Elder of our denomination for his faithful service throughout many years. Miami,FL: Revs.Laszlo and Eva Lukacsi serve the congregation in the last 15 years. New Brunswick,NJ: The congregation elected and installed Rev.Zsolt Ötvös as new pastor. New York,NY: Rev.Arpad Drótos leads the congregation with the Church Council. Perth Amboy,NJ: After the resignation of Rev.Kocsis, the congregation seeking for a new pastor. Poughkeepsie,NY: Rt.Rev.Alexander Forro serves in the congregation in the last 50 years. Rochester,NY: Rev.Dr.Maria Lallouet serves the small congregation. Roebling,NJ: Supply pastors from Amercan congregations and József Varga Chief Elder make their dueties in nthe small congregation. Staten Island,NY: Rev.Stefan M.Torok is the supply pastor in the service with Mrs.Linda Hauck Chief Elder. Trenton,NJ: Rev.Laszlo Ujj, the elders and the members of the congregation looking for the future and thinking about new location for the church. Washington,DC: The congregation served by Rev.Judit Mayer and Rev.László Petró. There is a new associate pastor, Rev. Peter Pal Czegledi from Hungary. I report with great thanks that within the Eastern Classis four new mission congregations have started. We have to accept that this is the future of our church. Preaching points are all around as mission congregations. In August 2010, Dean Kocsis resigned from his Dean’s position due to a call for a government job in Hungary. The newly elected Chief Elder Mr. Frank Király and the Treasurer of the Synod Mrs. Szilvia Russell Central Classis 6 congregations: Allen Park,MI: Rev.Ferenc Varga leads the biggest congregation in our denomination. Chicago,IL: By the leadership of Rev.Andras Balogh the congregation asked its admission to our denomination. Duquesne,PA: Rev.Dr.Jozsef Posta serves the congregation in the last decades. Interesting to note that 50 years ago at one of the Central Classis congregation in Duquesne,PA, the first bishop of our denomination Rt.Rev.Zoltán Béky was elected, until then only the “Senior Dean” “főesperes” was the highest title and office. McKeesport.PA: Rev.Dr.Daniel Borsay leads the congregation. Growing church with new members from the American neighborhood. Toronto,ON: Rev.Eva Mezo the pastor of the small congregation. Windsor,ON: Rev.Gyorgy Nagy, pastor of the congregation has retired, meanwhile a new pastor has arrived from Germany, whose employment permit was denied by the Canadian government. The congregation is still looking for a new pastor. After a long waiting the Windsor congregation has a new pastor, Rev.Zoltan Lizik from Cegléd, Hungary. In Windsor,ONT there were many problems because some church council members who served at the church for many years back, criticized the new pastor for his new leadership and ministry. The situation was very critical, but most of the church members supported the new pastor in his faithful service. The situation is consolidated. Western Classis 13 congregations: Austin,TX: New mission congregation, needs a pastor to held their services at the facilities of the Presbyterian Seminary. Dallas,TX: Rev.Ferenc Gaal left the mission congregation and for few years the sevices were stoped. Beginning of 2010, Rev.Zoltan Kelemen from Clevelad started to hold monthly services with 20-25 attendees.
