Then a faithful donor replied, “That is what I used to think too. Now I have a different attitude. You see, I had a son who always kept demending money. Money for shoes, for clothes, for food, for sports, for tuition — every time I turned around 1 had to pay out money. But now, you see, he does not require any money. He never asks for money. He died in a tragic accident. Since then I never complain about request for money.” To support life we all need money. To support a school program we need money. To have students we need money. Anything that is alive has needs. The Gaspar Karoli Seminary is alive and well! Therefore we have needs. Our most urgent need is for scholarship money. We have students, but they just cannot arrange the tuition fees. There are several persons who have great leadership potential, but they need financial help. Therefore we plead with you to give these students a helping hand. We need $10,000 for the coming school year for student aid. This entire need could be met by one congregation or one individual, but we are sure that many will want to join in with smaller amounts. Thus many will share in the blessing of helping these students. Many will share in the building of the future of our church. Without well prepared and trained Hungarian Reformed ministers the Hungarian Reformed Church in America will die! Every gift is important. Please do it now by using the form. Let us know what you will do for these talented and ambitious students. We are counting on You. The students are “staking their future” on our dedication. Our forefathers did create seminaries during the past centuries, they made the needed and necessary sacrifices for the future! Now we must do the same! God is watching us, He put the future of the Hungarian Reformed Church in America into our hands and our hearts! Let us hope that He will not be disappointed in our effort! The decision is ours! “When you share a part of what you have with others, that which remains, grows and multiplies.” With hopeful hearts: GASPAR KAROLI SEMINARY Gaspar Karoli Seminary Hungarian Reformed Church in America 2633 Copley Road, Akron, Ohio 44321 GENTLEMEN: I am sending to you my donation to help the education and training of Hungarian Reformed ministers through the Gaspar Karoli Seminary.-------------------enclosed-----------------pledged during the year of------------------------. “Let everyone do according as he disposed in his heart, not grudgingly, for God loveth a cheerful giver.” 2Cor 9:7.
