Shaw Kazay (Allen Park, Mich.) Leslie Torok (Ontario, Canada) officers of our Bethlen Youth Federation represented our denomination. Under the leadership of Dr. László Medyesy, camp co-director the following plans were made: Camp will be held on August 15th (Sunday) to August 21st (Sat.) morning. Location of camp will be at the Laurelville Mennonite Church Center, Rt. 5, Box 145, Mt. Pleasant, PA 15666. Tel.: (412) 423-2056 - the location of last year’s (1981) camp. Cost of the camp will not exceed $90.00. Our sister church, the Calvin Synod may announce a different amount, the reason is —the denomination covers part of the expenses. This cost will include all expenses. Registrations and fees should be made out and mailed to: Rev. Louis Illés, 1411 Kennedy Avenue, Duquesne, Pa. 15110 — or sent to the Synod’s treasurer, Mr. Sándor Kish directly. Registrations are to be turned in no later than July 1, 1982, and they should be accompained by the camp fee in full. This report is published early enough to facilitate p.m. for registration. Later on, there will be a speaker from our neighboring Church in Toledo, Ohio. Mr. Frank Nagy’s topic will be, “Declining Youth in our Churches. ” A discussion group will ensue afterwards. Dinner will be at 6’00 p.m., to be prepared by the Ladies Aid Society of our Church, at $3.50 per plate. Later in the evening, there will be a dance for the Youth. Accommodations will be available in private homes or nearby motels will be listed for those who would desire it. Sunday Morning, May 2, 1982, Church Services will be held at 9:45 a.m., with youth participation, keeping the deadline. If a camper cannot attend Camp after registering, his/her total fee will be refunded less $1.00 service charge. Additional details on equipment will be published in the next issue of the Magyar Egyház (Magyar Church). Housing will be in the brand new facilities of the camp, constructed since last year’s camp. Tarkanyi Christian Youth Advisor (313)381-7495 Ottawa 1982 The General Council of the World Alliance of the Reformed Churches is scheduled for August 16 — 26 in Ottawa, Canada this summer. There are 149 member churches all around the world representing 70 million fellow believers, who will send delegates to this conference. It would be good if more than the usual few would be able to attend this meeting. The church councils are urged to help pastors, and interested members of the congregations to attend. Due to the availability of space, hotel-motel-dormitories etc., etc., early registration is essential.
