Kalman Gondocz and John Varga chief-elder. NEWS FROM THE CONGREGATIONS AKRON, OHIO The construction of the Lorantffy Care Center is going according to the schedule. With the help of God we can open our Care Center in early September. The Lorantffy Board is doing a great job with the coordination of the job and with the important decisions on the changes, additions etc. A year ago we expected a 1,200,000 dollars expense, but because of the inflation our total building expense will be around 1,-300,000 dollars. This amount includes the price of the beautiful furniture (which was ordered 3 months ago, because we wanted to freeze the delivery price, but this money presently is not available for us) which is payable in September. The Lorantffy Board is requesting the help of the Hungarian Reformed Churches, ministers, elders, ladies groups, business people and every individual, who is able to understand our present situation and who cares about our old Hungarians. We are building the most beautiful and most wonderful building, which ever was built by Hungarians in the United States. We can be and one day we will be very proud that we had the foresight, the faith and the courage to start such a giant undertaking. But, the success depends on our sacrifices and our unity. Please help the Lorantffy Care Center with your donation and with your prayer. The full price of the furniture of one room is 2,000 dollars.
