Through the generosity of the Ladies Aid So­ciety ever}' child attending this party will receive a Christmas gift. Order of services during the hol­iday season: December 24, 7:30 — Christmas Eve service; December 25 — Christmas Day communion services, English at 9:30, Hunga­rian at 11; December 26 — Hun­garian at 11; December 29 — Eng­lish at 9:45, Hungarian at 11; December 31 — New Year’s Eve service at 7:30; January 1 •— New Year’s Day service at 11 o’clock. The Young Adults Fellowship is giving a New Year’s Party and Dance on December 31st, begin­ning at 8:30 p.m. Pancake Break­fast by the Golden Circle Club on January 12, Annual Pork Dinner and Dance on January 25. DUQUESNE, PA. Wedding: Frank Pulkownik and Carolyn Lietzell exchanged vows in our chapel on November 15th. Both are new members of our church. Funeral: James Stiver, on No­vember 7th. Interment was in our cemetery. The Senior Youth Fellowship is being reorganized into a Young People’s Club, which will be open for single and married young peo­ple. Their first meeting was on November 25th. At the present they are working on several proj­ects, e.g. Christmas decorations. Our Sunday School sponsored a field trip for its pupils on Novem­ber 16th to the Junior Playhouse in Pittsburgh, financed by the bakesale. The trip was highly suc­cessful and memorable. The pastor of the church was the speaker at Thanksgiving Eve Union services sponsored by the Duquesne Ministerial Association. Christmas caroling will be done by the church council in Hunga­rian, and the two Youth Fellow­ships in English and Hungarian. Dates will be determined later. Christmas Season services: De­cember 20th, Friday, Advent Ves­per Service, bilingual, with com­munion at 7 p.m.; Christmas Sun­day, December 22nd, Hungarian at 9:45 a.m., English 11 a.m.; Christ­inas Eve, bilingual at 7 p.m.; Christmas Day, Hungarian at 9:30 with communion, English at 11 a.m. witli communion; Christmas’ Second Day, Thursday, December 26th, Hungarian at 11 a.m. New Year’s services: Watch­­night, Thursday, December 31st, at 7 p.m. bilingual; New Year’s Day, Hungarian at 11 a.m. Other Sundays we will observe the reg­ular schedule: Hungarian at 9:45 a.m., English at 11 a.m. Christmas Parties: Sunday School on December 15th, Wo­men’s Club on December 4th. PERTH AMBOY, N. J. The pastor and officers of the church wish to all our members a blessed holiday season! The order of services will be mailed to all. The Christian Youth Fellowship will visit the homes with caroling from Friday, December 20th to Monday, December 23rd. Th ere will be a dinner-dance on New Year’s Eve for the benefit of the air conditioning fund; tickets are available from Joseph Bányács­­ki, vice-president. Several new immigrants arrived to the United States from Euro­pean refugee camps; their names are printed in the Hungarian sec­tion. The 65th anniversary of our church was celebrated Sunday, November 17th, with English and Hungarian worship services in the morning, and a banquet in the evening, attended by 435 members and guests. The Women’s Guild’s annual ba­zaar on December 1st was a very successful affair. Thanks to all who helped and made it possible. The Women’s Guild published a new edition of their Hungarian Cook Book. Write for a copy to the church; $1 plus postage. ROEBLING, N. J. The Rev. Kálmán Göndöcz was our guest minister on Mission Sun­day, November 3. Many of our members were quite generous in their mission offerings. It is com­forting to know that they take the mission command of our Lord seriously and follow the example of Christ’s compassion and love. Our annual bazaar was success­ful. The total profit was $834.34. We are grateful for all donations. Above all, we are deeply indebted to the few members who worked so diligently to bring about the success of the bazaar. The Pastor of our congregation was re-elected as the president of the Christian Churches of Florence Township. Our church was represented by five elders at the Elders’ Con­ference. Elder Bertalan Bartha was elected as one of the auditors of the Elders’ Association. Worship Services during Christ­mas: December 24, Combined Worship Service at 7:00 p.m. — December 25: English Worship Service witli Holy Communion at 9:00 a.m., Hungarian Worship Service with Holy Communion at 10:30 a.m. — December 26: Hun­garian Worship Service at 10:00 a.in. STATEN ISLAND, N. Y. Thanksgiving Communion was observed November 17 and the elements were donated by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph O’Donnell. Thanksgiving service was con­ducted in both languages and mem­bers of our neighboring American Reformed Church were our guests. The Rev. Charles E. Bloodgood de­livered the English message. After the worship services a social hour was held in the church hall. Our annual bazaar reached the highest profit in the last years: $1,460. Many thanks to the untir­ing workers. The order of Christmas services is as follows: December 22, Sun­day, 3 P. M. — Sunday School Christmas-party; Christmas Eve— Candlelight service, after which the carolers will visit the homes; December 25, 10 A. M. — English service, 11 A. M. Hungarian ser­vice, both with Communion; De­cember 31, 6:30 — New Year’s Eve combined service; January 1, 10 A. M. — New Year combined service. YOUNGSTOWN, O. The Rev.
