10 MAGYAR EGYHÁZ WELCOME FROM THE OFFICERS OF THE BETHLEN YOUTH FEDERATION It is always gratifying to see young people of the same faith and orgin meeting in Christian work and fellowship. The Bethlen Youth Federation has made remarkable achievements among the youth of our church during the past few years. Today, especially, when Christianity is on trial, Christian youth must prove its loyalty and faithfulness to the Savior of mankind, Jesus Christ, who is the sole solution to all our personal, social, national and international problems. Members of the Bethlen Youth Federation must be united to carry its share of the responsibilities laid upon the shoulders of Christian youth today. The members of the Bethlen Youth Federation must show their faithfulness and loyalty to the “Faith of the Fathers” and to their historical church, the Hungarian Reformed Church In America and retain and cherish the only independent Hungarian Reformed body in the world today. During our annual conferece, we shall discuss the problems at hand, strengthen our faith, and gather strength for the work we must do in our own congregations. PLEASE COME TO OUR YEARLY CONFERENCE — EVERYONE! Officers of the Federation for 1959-1960. FRAN HELMECZI, (Duquesne, Pa.) President ROBERT SZEPESI, (Duquesne, Pa.) We met at Perth Amboy on April 23 and 24. During this meeting we discussed the closeness of the clubs and what some of their problems were, as far as the board has knowledge of from its members. We are very interested to see how the clubs are pro~ gressing and also how we may assist in any way possible. With this in mind, l would like to have a list of your problems in trying to build a more active youth group in your church. It will give us a goal to work for —BETTER UNITY — help us in our discussions — to talk about US and OUR FUTURE. With this information we are going to start something new. That is, a discussion period on Saturday at the conference to help bring new ideas into the club and how to unite them in a way that we can be a closely united organization. Through these facts we can, and will be able to, bring together a better Federation. / would appreciate hearing from you as soon as possible. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
