Scouting is an idea which spreads through the whole world and takes colorful shapes by the fertility of many different cultures. In the years each shape becomes a tradition, an unalienable part of our great world movement. It was half a century ago that this idea first became a way of life for the youth of Hungary. Its irresistible call captured the hearts of every new generation and it lived beyond the destructions of the war and the disappointments of peace. Even when the organization was forcibly dissolved by the Communists, the tradition spread with us refugees to each country we went to. The idea and the tradition lived and matured through these fifty years, within and without a country, for it has found new homes everywhere among the scouts of all the nations. We roamed far, yet we were always near home by being a part of the scout world. As the legend goes, a white stag lead the way of our ancestors from the borderlands of Asia searching for a new home and a better world. This white stag had shown the way for all of you to the 4th World Jamboree at Gödöllő, Hungary. This same symbol leads us on our way in the service of world scouting through the camps of the old world and of the new. We come home to you - to learn and to teach, to receive and to give - and there is always room for us in your camps. In our solemn hour of reminiscence we thank you scout brothers of the world for keeping your campfires burning for us while we are away from our homeland. GLuue/hjcLqí. "Jcouts, Escuiti8mo es una idea que se extiende a través del mundo entero y que tome sparendes muitiformes por la fertilidad de las diferentes cuituras.Con los anos, cada forma se convierte en una tradíción, una parte inseparable de nuestro gran Movimiento Mundial. Hace medio siglo que esta idea se convirtió en una forma de vida para la juventud hungara. Su llamada irresistible conquistó las corazones de cada nueva generáción y vive aili, a pesar de las destrucciones de la guerra y la desiluaión de la paz. Aun caundo la organizáción fűé disuelta por los comunistas por la fuerza, difundió con nosotros, los refugiados, en los paises respectivos donde vivimos. La idea y la tradición vivió y maduró durante estos 50 anos, dentró y fuera del paiS} y por eső encontró nuevos hogares en todas las psrtes, entre los scouts de todas las naciones. For eso, aunque nosotros hemos Hegedő lejos, estamos siempre cerca del hogar, formando parte del mundo scout. Segun la ley ends, una ci er ve blaues ensenó el camino a nuestros antecesores que salieron las fronteras de A- sia, buscando un nuevo hogar y un mundo mejor. Esta cierva blanca mostró el camino a todos vosotros hacia el 4to Jamboree Mundial en Gödöllő, Hungría. Este mismo simbolo nos conduce en el camino de servicio del mundo scout,por los campos del nuevo y el viejo mundo. Al vi8itarles - para aprender y ensenar, recibir y dar - nos sentimos como en case, porque siempre hay sitio pare nosotros en vuestros campos. En nuestras horas solennes de reminiscencias os dános las gracias a vosotros Hermanos Scouts del mundo por mantener encendidos vuestros fogones pere nosotros, mientras estamos alejados de nuestra Patria. 3
