Literature gives very little information on H ATİBOĞLU . From the Fercih-ncime we learn that his name was Mehmed. He allegedly was from Germi yan. The Ferali-name is a book of the hundred hadis, written in 829/1425-1426 (249b). It is divided into 100 chapters. Each chapter consists of one hadis and a story commenting it. Two different copies of the manuscript are at the Koyunoğlu Museum's Library in Konya. This copy in the LHAS was written in Ramazan 928/July 1522 (250b). The work was presented to the world of science for the first time by J. N ÉMETH (see above). Leather-bound; with gilded rosette inset; with chain-pattern; flap torn out; in good condition. Paper: with watermarks; script: ta lik; ink: black; gilded headings; gilded opening heading (serlevha) with colorful decoration containing the title; broad gilded border with green line in the center on the first two pages (lb-2a); all other pages arc framed by a double gilded line; catchwords. 113
