Mong. 204 Ritual Against Acne Tibeto-Mongol manuscript, late 18th century pothi of thin, fragile, greyish white Chinese paper, 29.3 : 8.8 cm, edges torn around, no full-size leaf; Tibetan pagination (spelled out) on the left margin, recto; 4 Tibetan lines/page, thin calamus, black ink, red highlighting on small script commentary and colophon lines; left lower corner of f. 3a lost, the end of the Mongolian text damaged. Script and orthography similar to those in Mong. 203, but the independent A and its graphic cognates (final K/B) are curvy. Title on the cover, under Tibetan volume- or chapter-marker dbu-can letter ta, Tibetan dbu­med: O Sna-chogsyum 'brum-nad gsel-bsruri 'byer bsgrub-thabs bzugs-so\\, Mong.: Eldib/ еке-yin/ göbdü=rügü/ebeän-i/ aril yay=ci/ sakiquy=yin/ tula/ ary-a/ bütügel/orosiba • "[Here] is Sna-chogs yum/Eldeb eke's ritual for curing and preventing the disease of acne." Title in colophon: "The Steady Rainfall of Ambrosia That Soothes the Dangers of Acne and Fever Diseases."
