Sanguozhi "Three Kingdoms" and Mongol chapter-marker on recto pages left margin within the frame, Chinese pagination with chapter marker on verso pages, the left corner, below, within the frame, 25 lines/recto, 26 lines/verso; the chapter initial first two recto pages are printed wholly or partly in red, partly with ornamental frame (I, f. 1 a with meanders and petals; f. 2a: red and black, red frame with cakra and other gems, 3 black + 4 red + 5 black + 4 red + 3 black lines). I, f. la, left: printed figure of Qormusta/Indra on elephant throne, with two consorts; right: Geser qayan on horseback, with two heroes, Üjesküleng-tü mergen you-a (with moustache), and Bars bayatur. Back cover recto: red print in frame, four heroes sitting (the second is Jasa Siker), each with two companions. Covers are yellow outside. Here and there ornamental characters (e.g., VI, f. 7a end: bölüg). Orthography with some preclassical features. Text with South-Mongol, presumably Ordos, dialectal elements. Title in black double-lined trapezoid frame (17.3 : 4.5 : 12.8 cm) on the yellow cover: Arban /jüg-ün /efen /Geser /qa үап-и / toyufi/orosiba • "[Here] is the Story of Emperor Geser, Lord of the Ten Directions."
