I, 2a: 45.8 : 14.2) cm, Chinese paper pasted of 3 layers, surface originally glassy white, now brownish yellow, with brownish spots; Mongol pagination with volume- (debter) marker, the latter being the Mongol reading of the necessary letter of the Indian alphabet (from k = ga to n = na, 15 units; e.g., ga [= Indo-Tibetan ka] nigen for I, la; black, left margin, beyond frame), each first page with an empty "box" on each side of the text; 12 lines on f. I, 1 (red and black alternating: 3+2+2+2+3), 27 lines/page (f. 1,2a: lines 7, 14 and 21 red); calamus, black and red ink; bold style calligraphy with wide final B/G/V/-A and D (with or without "needle-point") on the left, and with similarly wide final A/N (slightly bending down with thorn-like end) on the right side of the line; mostly Uigur Z as final s; initial Q high, archaic; Galik letters.
