144 SUMMARY ON THE FUNCTIONAL SYSTEM AND ORGANIZATION FORM OF ACADEMY LIBRARIES * After a survey of the historical background the paper provides a typological analysis of the national academy libraries of the socialist mould. It analyses specialization and integration in functions and organizational forms, presenting concrete practice existing in the different countries. This practice is determined by the traditions and by the existing organizational systems of the academies of sciences operating their library and information apparatus. In addition to the concept of specialization and integration the concept of centralization and decentralization are subjects of the analysis too. Megjelent: Magyar
